Unity OverCloud 教學

OverCloud 是一套 Unity 動態天空效果外掛程式，適合製作 Unity 飛行模擬器，或製作動態天空與雲層效果的場景。效果逼真但硬體需求較高。

質量雲平面 ( Volumetric cloud plane )

OverCloud 使用獨特的粒子網格渲染方式，僅在實際覆蓋雲層的範圍進行計算。支援進階的效果，例如 Ray-marched, Energy-conserving lighting, Cloud shadows, Cloud ambient occlusion 與 Cloud coverage probing。

大氣散射效果 (Physically based atmospheric scattering)

OverCloud 包括一個預先計算的大氣散射解決方案，用於渲染天空與空中透視圖，它可以根據 Far clip plane 自動將場景淡入 Skybox 讓您的地面與天空完美融合。

體積高度霧效果 (True volumetric height fog)

OverCloud 支抓基於全域高度的體積霧效果，與大氣散射完美融合，當攝影機移動進入雲層時，看著天空消失在上方，或者在惡劣天氣飛到雲層上方，瞥見晴朗的天空。

質量光效果 (Volumetric lighting)

OverCloud generates crepuscular rays which take into account both cloud and world shadows. Additionally, it supports volumetric point and spotlights which mix perfectly with the global fog and clouds.

時間變化效果 (Physically based time of day)

您可以設定日期、經緯度、白天的太陽與夜晚的月亮 elements are properly rendered in the skybox with physical sizes, it even supports solar and lunar eclipses.

OverCloud 效果可透過場景視窗即時預覽，無需進入 Play mode 可直接調整各項設定。

Preset-based 天氣系統

為天空與雲層調整各項參數，並可在不同的預設效果之間平順切換，支援加入您的浮點變數控制自訂的效果。

動態表面濕度 (Dynamic surface wetness)

OverCloud supports modifying albedo and gloss of surfaces below rainy clouds, and can dynamically occlude wetness from surfaces that should be protected from rain (such as inside a building or under a protruding cliff). It also features animated rain ripples.

支援 VR 虛擬實境遊戲

OverCloud was born out of the need for a robust volumetric sky solution for 虛擬實境專案，支援 Multi-pass 與 Single-pass stereo 模式。

支援 Forward / Deferred 渲染管線

OverCloud 可運行於 Forward 與 Deferred rendering path，部份的效果僅支援 Deferred (Cloud AO 與 Dynamic wetness)。

支援 Floating Origin 浮動原點

OverCloud 具有一組用於移動世界渲染原點的功能，在製作大型場景時，這是相當重要的功能。

開啟 [ OverCloud > Example Content > Scenes ] 的 OverCloudDemo 展示場景。

這是一個測試用的 Unity 模擬飛行遊戲，按下 Play 測試遊戲。

無論是在高空或低空飛行，從不同角度體驗真實的視覺效果。

選取場景上的 OverCloud 物件，透過 Inspector 屬性編輯器設定

Volumetric Clouds 用於設定質量雲的視覺效果。

Atmosphere 用於設定大氣效果。

OverCloud 提供天氣的預設選項，從 Weather Presets 下方可選擇：

Clear 晴天、Foggy 起霧、Rain 雨天、Storm 暴風雨。
